With version 6.6, we’ve introduced a powerful set of updates across Admin, Dispatcher, Android, and iOS — designed to help organizations manage incidents with greater clarity and act on critical information more effectively.
Merging Incidents, Reducing Noise
In fast-moving operations, multiple calls or reports can easily create duplicate incidents. With Synch 6.6, dispatchers can merge them into one active incident, cutting the noise and keeping teams focused on what really matters.
Smarter Incident Resolution
When closing incidents, insights often get lost. That changes now. Admins can define customized resolution reasons, giving organizations the ability to capture structured knowledge at the exact moment incidents are resolved. Over time, this builds a valuable database for learning and improving responses.
Visual Clarity of Incidents on the Map
Maps are at the heart of incident management. In Synch 6.6, incident icons are now displayed as clear squares, color-coded by priority and status. This makes it much easier for dispatchers to quickly distinguish between incidents and other map entities, especially when multiple critical events are happening at once.
Reaching the Right Teams Faster
We’ve made it easier to send urgent messages to multiple groups with just a few clicks. Splash Alerts — critical, on-screen messages with optional audio alarms — can now be sent to several groups at once. Whether it’s an urgent safety update or a critical coordination message, dispatchers can reach wide audiences instantly, both on desktop and mobile.
A Better Transcripts Experience
Transcripts are becoming a core tool for organizations that need to document and review PTT sessions. With this release, the transcript experience has been improved across all platforms — mobile, dispatcher, and admin. It’s now easier to playback and transcribe communications, helping teams document events and stay compliant.
SOS Widget
As part of the Safe Worker features, Synch now offers a dedicated SOS widget. The widget provides instant access to the panic button directly from the device home screen—no need to open the app.
Additional Improvements
- Auto-incident creation: Incidents can now be created automatically when entering an address, shortening response times.
- Group management: Group managers can delete groups directly, without admin involvement.
- Incident configuration: A new Incidents tab in the Admin Console streamlines control over incident statuses, resolution reasons, and types.
- Bulk user updates: Admins can now update settings access for multiple users at once.
- Mobile OS notifications improved – now the full message history is now visible in the notification drawer — not just the latest update.
